Our Story
UNI INDUSTRIES EAST AFRICA LIMITED is an amalgamation of UNIVERSAL INDUSTRIES CORPORATION (PTY) LIMITED and BENHAM INTERNATIONAL LIMITED.
Benham International Limited Founded
BENHAM INTERNATIONAL LIMITED came into existence in 1993 and grew into the largest regional Bakery, Kitchen & Laundry supplier in the region for 23 years with the head office in Nairobi. The company set base in Arusha & Dar es Salaam in Tanzania, Uganda and Zanzibar, prides in supplying quality goods & services which are fully backed up by a strong marketing and services department, with the full support of the suppliers.

Incorporation of Universal Industries Corporation (Pty) Limited
UNIVERSAL INDUSTRIES CORPORATION (PTY) LIMITED was incorporated in 1996. The underlying businesses are well established (some having a history of more than 100 years) supplying a diverse range of blue-chip clients in the local and international markets in the hospitality industry.

Going forward, the company UNI INDUSTRIES EAST AFRICA LIMITED focuses on providing you with complete systems, not just equipment. We will design, supply, install, commission as well as provide back up for your equipment requirements. We also pride ourselves in offering back up spares from our suppliers for up to TEN years.
At UNI INDUSTRIES EAST AFRICA LIMITED we will utilize the foundation provided by all existing businesses to expand further into other areas which include Rwanda, Burundi, Malawi and The west African Region at large with the objective of maintaining the superior position of supplying and manufacturing of branded equipment, solutions and services for food, beverage, hospitality and related industries primarily in Africa.
